The new Maison Martin Margiela collection was presented through the use of a police lineup. The models were called one by one and each stepped forward briefly holding up their name placard. This collection took a step back from the more avant-garde prone Margiela and opted for a dressed down look with more mass appeal. However, a collection that would have played it far too safe was spiced up with the use of a pattern meant to look like rain streaks. To a similar effect, several of the jeans featured a contrasting color streaked like an oil dripping. Now the only question is whether you can play the role of a convict this upcoming season.
