CARLOS MIELE S/S 2010

Sounds of samba echoed through the runway room as the designer debuted his well-rounded collection with pieces for both day and night. Pairing pleated boleros with his shadow-dyed sweeping gowns, the designer also showed t-shirts, jackets and other more retail friendly silhouettes.

Despite noteworthy pieces as a whole, it was the details that stole the show for Miele. Heavy metal beading paired with light wool and floral appliqués took home the prize as the most memorable embellishments of the show.
