Rachel Zoe Spring 2014: No One-Hit Wonder

Proving she’s no one-hit wonder, Rachel Zoe presented a slew of modern, often sportswear-influenced pieces for Spring 2014. In fact, aside from the closing Ikat-like 70s style dress — which Zoe also wore as she took her runway bow — there were no major traces of the stylist turned designer’s signature boho flare.

Instead, the collection was rife with short shorts, oversized trousers, high-waist or lightly shredded denim, fitted outerwear and there was even a metallic take on a classic jogging pant. There may not have been anything ground-breaking in the wider fashion picture, but it was all exceedingly wearable and pieces came in enough colorways and silhouettes to appeal to a wide range of women once the spring styles hit stores.
