  1. When I get dressed in the morning I think… where did I put those black jeans last night?

     
  2. I would never leave my home without… my bike (most the time) and being clothed.

     
  3. The item of clothing I currently wear the most… black jeans.

     
  4. My biggest style pet peeve is… when guys tuck their jeans into their boots.

  7. When I’m looking to de-stress I… make art, ride, surf and hang with the people that mean the most to me (in no particular order and dependent on the day).

     
  8. My beauty essentials include… mainly just some New York City tap water and a spot of moisturizer from Kiehl’s; that about wraps it up.

     
  9. If my days had one extra hour I’d… create things, ride, surf, stay in bed and see the people that mean the most to me (in no particular order and dependent on the day).

     
  10. The last thing I googled was… if I was spelling Kiehl’s correctly—my spelling is atrocious.

     
  11. I could never travel without… a sketchbook, microns and pencils, music, the St. Christopher my mother gave me, the ring my father gave me (that my mother gave to him at 21), the bracelet my best friend made for me and the chain my grandmother gave me (the last four depend on where I am going, as I could never lose any of these).

     
  12. To be a good designer you have to… believe in your gut, understand realism but often fight or challenge it, be committed, work hard, think and be inspired like only you know how, keep looking forward, break the rules and f*ck tradition.

     
  13. The qualities I admire most when I’m looking for people to work with… believing in your gut but being open (not always the easiest trait), not always being right, sharing, inspiring, hard-working and good manners.

     
  14. The best thing about working for Theory is… the soul, the creativity, the realism and the people.

     
  15. My guilty pleasure is… dark chocolate (I’ve convinced myself it’s really good for me so I must have it every day).

     
  16. The best advice I ever got… sort your shit out.

     
  17. On a typical Saturday night… I am at the beach, with family or friends laying low.

     
  18. I’m always happy when… I spend time with my family and friends, when I am being creative and when I am in the ocean.

     
  19. No day goes by without… music, some form of exercise, picking up a pen or brush, seeing those that mean the world to me and eating dark chocolate.

     
  20. When I’m looking to get inspired I… normally try not to look too hard–that’s when you get frustrated, natural inspiration works best. Also, being in the right situation helps, but your frame of mind needs to be open to be inspired in the right way; it can be as simple as riding through the city as going to a gig/gallery/traveling or communicating.

     
  21. One thing I do badly that I wish I did well… surf.
