Midway through Fashion Week, some of fashion’s heavy-hitters came out and showed the good and the not-so-good. And forum members are laying out the critiques left and right. Here’s a look at what they did and didn’t like.

NYFW Spring 2015 Hits

Victoria Beckham

“Amazing. I must admit I didn’t see this collection coming. But those shoes and bags are gorgeous. The colors could have been mistaken for fall but this is wonderful.” [TaylorBinque]

“I believe Victoria is on top of her game right now…I believe her aesthetic fills this void in the fashion business that not many new designers pay attention to and that is extremely well tailored and luxurious clothing that low-key women with money and class want to wear.” [dodencebt]

“Surprisingly focused, and what most lacks at NYFW; cohesive collection, from start to finish. I mean Safari and Nautical has been done to death, but it looked ‘fresh’ here. The boxy bags PERFECT, and so luxurious. Amazing coats (they are her new ‘dress’), and wonderful use of knits.” [Miss Dalloway]

Carolina Herrera

“Loved this show and everything in it. Those last few dresses with the shapes, my lord!” [Desi]

“Stunning collection, I watched the video 3 times in a row.” [liberty33r1b]

“Simple and architectural, love it.” [Nymphaea]

The Row

“OH MY GOD THOSE BAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Literally the best bags I’ve seen in recent times! Absolutely exquisite!” [Thefrenchy]

“Finally some credit to Nadege Vanhee. The best collection I’ve seen from this label and it’s probably no coincidence it was her final collection…certainly should serve as a glimpse of what we might see from Nadege at Hermes too.” [Scott

“Those bags, oh my god. It’s probably too soon to tell, but I love this collection already. It looks luxurious as usual.” [vandekamp]
