Meet Fay Leshner, Topshop Fifth Avenue’s secret weapon. The Parsons grad is a former model who now spends her days as a fashion designer (she racked up hours at Diane von Furstenberg) and an editorial stylist. The U.K. retailer hired Leshner to populate its complimentary personal shopping service for the newly-opened Topshop flagship in Midtown. Care to know more? So did we.

Personal style: I describe my style as looking like a girl from a proper household who’s run away. My clothing is an eclectic mix of Old World references with contemporary edge. I like to create looks that tell a story and are cinematic.

Obsession: Print-on-print in different scales.

Pet peeve: Uggs and crocs are never ever a good thing.

Bookmarked blogs: Stylesight, Fashion Gone Rogue and The Satorialist

Topshop must-haves: A tailored slim-fit woman’s suit, heeled ankle boots that are slim at the ankle to wear with dresses, a big statement fur and a man clutch.

Favorite fall trend: Pale shades or pop colors for fall and winter.

Trend you’ll never try: Kanye’s venetian blind sunglasses or ghetto skater.

Most popular item in your wardrobe: My Versace yellow fox fur coat.

Look for a bargain or splurge: Both!

What’s bigger—your shoe or bag collection: Shoes, for sure.
