Milan Fashion Week was off to a fine start with Alessandro Michele’s collection for Gucci generating a huge amount of buzz on our forums and Miuccia Prada getting her mojo back with the unveiling of her “clever, fun, attractive” Spring 2017 Prada collection. Yet with the good comes the bad and here at theFashionSpot, we don’t hold back. Whether the shows were declared fantastic or a downright failure, Milan Fashion Week has been far from uneventful. Modeling legend Lauren Hutton walked the runway alongside Gigi Hadid (fabulously clutching the exact same bag she carried in the 80s movie American Gigolo) for Bottega Veneta’s 50th-anniversary show spectacular, while we are left shaking our heads over Dolce & Gabbana’s “dated and boring” collection.
