Vans Goes for Van Gogh

Vincent Van Gogh, fashion icon? Van’s certainly thinks so. The sneaker has brand partnered with the Van Gogh Museum on a collection of T-shirts, sweatshirts and sneakers inspired by the post-impressionist artist.

The details on the items are said to be so precise that art enthusiasts and Van Gogh aficionados will be floored by the brush-like strokes of the designs. Adriaan Dönszelmann, managing director of the Van Gogh Museum expressed his excitement toward the project as it makes accessible the works of Van Gogh and has the potential to inspire and enrich the lives of a new audience.

“By uniting Van Gogh’s iconic artworks with iconic Vans styles, our partnership brings Vincent’s art ‘Off The Wall’ and into the world to a new audience outside the museum,” he said.
