Chrissy Teigen and Andreja Pejic Flaunt Faux Body Modifications to Promote New Interactive Exhibit

Chrissy Teigen, Andreja Pejic and Tan France showed off their flesh-like body art on Instagram this week as a precursor to an upcoming exhibit on September 5.

A. Human, described as an “immersive theatrical art event,” will showcase its premiere collection at 48 Mercer Street in Manhattan next month, promoting less clothing and more prosthetics. In an attempt to go beyond the idea of body contouring and breast enhancement, creator Simon Huck brings to life more fantastical notions of body modification, like Teigen’s angelic feather chest and France’s gill-like neck implant.

“We didn’t want to root any of our modifications on the idea of existing insecurities or discomforts,” Huck told Vogue. “A. Human is about the freedom to explore this world and live in this world in any way you choose.”

The exhibit will be directed by Michael Counts in collaboration with designer Nicola Formichetti, who has worked with Lady Gaga on her music videos, and visual makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench. General admission tickets to the event, which is open through September 30, are priced at $40. There are also After Hours tickets, priced at $70, that give you access to more rooms within the exhibition as well as two free cocktails.
