TOP 10 FASHION WEEK HOTSPOTS
February 11th, 2010
Kenmare – from Nur Khan and the man behind the Beatrice, Paul Sevigny, this Mediterranean restaurant is opening in the short-lived Civetta space for previews during Fashion Week.
Koi – located in the lobby of the Bryant Park Hotel where countless events and presentations are held, Koi occupies prime Fashion Week real estate.
The Wooly – from owner Eric Adolfsen, the Wooly is being billed as the “next Beatrice”. It’s located under the Woolworth Tower, and a restaurant is also expected to open soon.
Surf Lodge – the hot spot East End eatery cum bar cum lounge will be opening a pop-up at Milk Studios.
The Breslin – a high-ceiling, pub-like (well, a swank pub), space from heavy hitter Ken Friedman, The Breslin is located in the bustling Ace Hotel.
QT (aka the Boom Boom Room) – one of the city’s most popular spot since it first opened in the fall of 2009, QT is the 18th floor lounge in The Standard Hotel.
Indochine – it’s Carine Roitfeld’s favorite restaurant, need we say more?
Bowery Hotel – with countless events and presentation taking place in the hotel, expect a see-and-be-seen crowd in the hotel’s rooms, terrace, bar, and restaurant.
Rose Bar — there’s no going wrong with this always popular spot in the Gramcery Park Hotel (especially since Danny Meyer just opened Maialino in the hotel)
