Net-a-Porter Is Your New One-Stop Shop for Sustainable Fashion

Fashion isn’t exactly the most eco-friendly industry out there, but recently numerous brands and designers have opted to take a more sustainable approach to producing all those must-have items. Now Net-a-Porter is jumping on the eco-conscious bandwagon with its new sustainable platform, Net Sustain.

Rather than having to search high and low for those good-for-the-environment brands, the retailer has placed them all in one place. Each brand featured has to meet at least one of five attributes: Locally Made, Craft & Community, Considered Materials, Considered Processes and Reducing Waste.

Net Sustain currently boasts 500 products from 26 brands, including Stella McCartney, Mother of Pearl, Lemlem and Veja. More brands will be added to the platform soon along with select beauty products.

“Our aim is to give a voice to the brands that are truly making positive changes by providing them with a platform to highlight their best practice,” explained Elizabeth von der Goltz, global buying director for Net-a-Porter.
