The Misses Way Outnumber the Hits at Milan Fashion Week Spring 2022

Milan Fashion Week Spring 2022 is a wrap. Now it’s on to Paris. Fortunately, we were treated to an (almost) endless amount of showstopping moments.

Alberta Ferretti kicked things off with a collection full of feminine charm and casual elegance. At Fendi, Kim Jones took us all the way back to the disco era. Fausto Puglisi reworked Roberto Cavalli’s signature tiger print, while Ian Griffiths at Max Mara gave us an offering inspired by Françoise Sagan. Alberto Caliri took over the reins at Missoni with a 90s-filled showcase.

Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons made fashion history by simultaneously showcasing two shows in Milan and Shanghai. Dua Lipa made her runway debut at Versace. The noughties are back and better than ever at Dolce & Gabbana. Meanwhile, Giorgio Armani proved once again he’s the king of Italian fashion.

Donatella Versace and Jones switched roles with the former designing a mini Fendi collection and the latter serving up a fresh spin on Versace giving us a collaboration we never knew we wanted. Of course, it helps that the show featured runway legends, including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Amber Valletta.

Here are all the hits and misses of Milan Fashion Week Spring 2022 according to our unfiltered forum members.
