We’re obviously all about diversity. So we’re happy to see several editions of Vogue focus on the subject with their March 2022 covers. (Vogue China did it best.) Although it’s something that should be highlighted and celebrated all year long.
There’s lots to love this month. From another stunning Zoë Kravitz offering courtesy of American ELLE to a beauty-focused shot of Amanda Gorman via Allure. While Harper’s Bazaar disappoints with its Venus and Serena Williams covers, its Greek and Russian offshoots manage to impress.
It’s a similar story for InStyle. Gigi Hadid’s American covers aren’t exactly stellar. But the magazine’s Mexican edition starring Kiernan Shipka is fresh and fun.
While March issues usually focus on spring, most of the styling seems more suited to fall. The backgrounds are also not very spring-worthy. We’ll see if the tide turns for April.
Vogue Japan appears to be out of its multi-model cover phase with Vogue Korea taking on the mantle. Well, at least for March. Several publications also experimented with layout covering everything from composition to fonts. Some are definitely more successful than others. See Harper’s Bazaar Greece and Vogue Russia for evidence.
Here are all the March 2022 covers we fell head over heels for. Along with the ones we’d like to forget.
