Beckley Boutique Gets a Makeover

Famed for their eclectic mix of established designer brands and cutting edge up-and-comers, Beckley boutique—believe it or not—first opened in Las Vegas back in 1908.

While the original store, which closed its doors about 70 years ago, was a bespoke menswear boutique opened by Beckley LA owner Melissa Richardson Akkaway’s great-grandfather, the California outpost is a sunny, airy space stocked with racks and racks of womenswear.

Among the brands imported from all over the world are Kova and T, Halston, Ports 1961, Camilla and Marc, Erin Fetherston, Vivienne Westwood, Chris Benz, Kenneth Jay Lane, and Fallon.

Luckily for those not in the LA-area, anyone can shop the diverse selection through the boutique’s website at www.beckleyboutique.com, which recently underwent a makeover.

Streamlined, sleek, and conveniently organized by garment type (dresses, bottoms, tops, shoes, accessories), as well as by occasion (winter wedding, weekend getaway, date night, black tie event), the site also features a “New at Beckley” section for frequent shoppers.

Tons of celebrities get their wardrobe fix at Beckley, including Louise Roe of The City and Plain Jane, actress Leelee Sobieski, Rumer Willis, model and host Heidi Klum, Amy Smart, and Jada Pinkett Smith. Best of all, now you can shop the ample selection of women’s ready-to-wear pieces, evening wear, loungewear, accessories, and shoes, and get free shipping.

Next up? Beckley Boutique is setting up shop in Akkaway’s hometown of Las Vegas in December.
