Here Comes the Bride!

With so many celebrities engaged – Natalie Portman, Kristen Bell, Amy Adams, and Kate Middleton! – bridal inspiration is in the air. Jason Wu has just released a bridal collection featuring classic shift dresses with teacup skirts, Vera Wang launched a more affordable bridal collection for David’s Bridal, and Elie Saab‘s couture collection included several bridal gown choices.

We chose our favorite gowns from these collections, and hope to see our favorite celebrities wear them when they walk down the aisle.

Elie Saab’s dusky white gown with embellishments and a grecian shoulder (above, left) is absolutely divine, and something we could imagine the beautiful Amy Adams wearing down the aisle. The gown on the right is quite extravagant; layers of tulle, overlayed embroidery, and a sweetheart neckline, making it the perfect choice for Kate Middleton.

This beautiful blush tone gown from Elie Saab, with its elegant neckline, belted waist, and cap sleeves, is the perfect choice for a conservative but fashion forward bride.

Jason Wu became a household name after Michelle Obama wore one of his dresses to her husband’s presidential inauguration. Now, Wu’s released a bridal range exclusively to net-a-porter.com. We love the simplicity of this gown (above, right) and think the layers of gossamer tulle would drape elegantly over Natalie Portman’s baby bump.

Vera Wang has always been the queen of bridalwear, and now all women can wear her creations, thanks to her new “White” line for David’s Bridal. The scalloped overlay and sophisticated jeweled belt make this column dress (above, left) an elegant choice for any bride. For those who want a little more flounce, this cream and white tulle gown is a bit more traditional, yet full of fairy tale glamour.
