Jewelry Confessions: a tFS Video Exclusive with Sharon Feiereisen

Sharon FeiereisenA few months ago, Timex invited me to shoot a short video as part of a series of Spring 2011 web videos hosted by fashion writer and Timex Trend Director Amy Goodman. They asked that I come armed with some of my favorite accessories from my own closet and some suggestions on essentials that every woman needs. Narrowing my favorite jewelry pieces down to a select few was near impossible, and I made my way to the Connecticut shoot with two oversized Lulu Guinness travel bags filled with favorites.

In the end, nOir and Kenneth Jay Lane rings, Hermes bracelets, headbands from a variety of brands (including Behnaz Sarafpour for Target, one of my all-time favorite high-low collaborations), and a variety of pieces I’ve picked up while traveling made the cut.

While oversized bangles and statement cocktail rings may not be for everyone, accessories are one of the easiest ways to update a wardrobe (especially when on a budget), work in current trends, and for those who opt for more classic fashion choices, jewelry can help give your look a more personal and expressive dimension.
