Fashion Challenge: Head-to-Toe White for Day

Another great thing about wearing white is that it goes with anything! I fell in love with this Line Knitwear knitted top called The Forecast and the way it looks with my white denim is the perfect match. The shirt has a lot of texture and details already, so I tend to pair it with a lot of colorful arm candy to play it up a bit. Jenny Bird has these amazing wraparound leather strap bracelets that I just pile on. This look carries me through my daytime meetings, and even for drinks after a long day. While it’s not the easiest thing to wear ankle strap sandals all day long, I find that they elongate my legs, so they are my go-to shoe. Even after eating a huge bowl of pasta for lunch, they make me look tall and slim. Finishing the look with a light gloss from Yves Saint Laurent beauty, and I am ready to go.

My other weakness in summer, other than wearing white and glowing, is wearing cute dresses. I found this steal at H&M for an amazing price and paired it with a Jenny Bird half moon pendant necklace and hillside ring. I like to think of Jenny Bird’s pieces as conversation starters, and they really take this dress from average to fantastic. I finished this look with my favorite ankle strap sandals — I can walk miles in them and party in them without a sweat. Not to mention they make my legs look super long!

In my opinion, there is no wrong way to wear white. You can chose to brighten it up with some colorful accessories, some color blocking heels, bright lipstick, colorful scarf and you are set. You set the tone based on your mood for the day.
