Canada’s 12 Days of Christmas Shopping

…or just for your fashionable inner child. Holt Renfrew and Missoni have partnered to create a limited-edition worldwide-exclusive plush bear and elephant that will support OrphanAid Africa. They come in the iconic zig-zag print and retail for $50.

For the Party Piece BFF

A statement necklace will get anyone noticed on the party circuit and can instantly jazz up a tired shirt with the flip of a clasp. Dannijo makes the most unique and eye-catching neck pieces around. Though the prices can make or break Santa’s budget (I’m currently coveting the wooden beaded Viv for $745), just think of all those plain tees and sweaters that will get put back in the rotation.

For the Discerning Gent

I think Roots bags and wallets are the be-all and end-all of all leather goods (you know they offer free repairs?). I recently visited there with my partner (to buy him a wallet no less) and he simply couldn’t take his eyes off this Italian leather Raiders satchel, basically a man bag, which comes in black and brown.

For the Book Worm

The tables at Indigo are known for their beautiful displays of fashionable coffee table books. One of the most chic, because it contains perhaps the most stylish model, is Kate Moss by Mario Testino. This book is Mario’s personal homage to his greatest muse: a young girl that captured his heart and eye with her beauty, humor, and spirit, and whose image in his photographs have captured imaginations the world over.

For the Lady in Your Life (with love from the filthy rich partner)

Victoria’s Secret is your go-to destination for lacy things for the lady in your life. But if you’re looking for something with that little extra je ne sais quoi, how about snapping up a bejeweled Fantasy Bra? The company has failed to sell a single creation since they first glued diamonds to breasts in 1996 and this year’s Floral Fantasy bra costs $2.5million.

For Yourself

According to the latest survey from PayPal Canada, 74% of Canadian women are responsible for ALL their holiday shopping this season, and on that note, I think they should reward themselves with a little retail therapy/wardrobe additions.

The PayPal survey revealed that Canadian women are most likely to splurge on a cocktail dress to update their holiday fashion wardrobe this year. We recently featured the best holiday dresses to get you noticed under the mistletoe, which is why I’m now adding a pair of shoes to our ever-growing wishlist, Christian Louboutin shoes no less, to tie in nicely with the upcoming exhibit hitting Toronto this summer.

I’m a sucker for studs and spikes, so these Fifi Spikes (RRP $1,195, gulp!), satisfy all my inner-vamp tendencies. If I want to pass up the red soles and save a thousand bucks, Aldo shoes have an equally party-worthy pair of similar pumps for $100.
