Brave the Big Freeze with the High Street’s Finest Coats!

Budget

If you’re still feeling the pinch after Christmas, then a trip to a value retailer like New Look is a must, and we think that their belted snood coat (below left) in speckled burgundy, £39.99, is the perfect piece that’ll help you to stay warm in the snow.

Or, for a few pounds more, pop along to the Kardashians’ favourite, Dorothy Perkins, and pick yourself up one of their black belted capes, £40 (below right). A great classic to keep you feeling stylish no matter how cold it gets.

Treat Yourself

Zara is a must for anybody wanting to snap up an on-trend winter coat. We love their long leather sleeved biker coat, which is currently available online for £99 (below left). There’s also no doubt that this look is a big trend upon the British streets this season too, as we’ve spotted several just around the celebs’ favourite North London postcode this weekend alone.

Alternatively, the Puffer jacket is still a hot favourite, and that’s probably because us Brits secretly want to emulate New Yorkers. Zara (below right) has again hit the nail on its head with this trend, and our favourite has to be their black quilted puffer jacket, £79.99, that comes complete with belted waist detail to avoid that dreaded Michelin Man look.

Splurge!

Now, if you’re feeling really flash with the cash, check out Net-A-Porter’s latest offerings. We stumbled across their leather trimmed grey Sophie Hulme coat for £610. Or, alternatively, My Wardrobe is another great place to overindulge, and we’ve picked their Colberg black sheepskin coat as the perfect example. It’s still a real splurge at the price of £840, but you won’t feel as guilty when you realise that its original price tag was £1,200. Bargain!!
