Spring Launches: The Love List

A beauty entrepreneur gets into footwear, Kate Spade launches a diffusion line and more spring buys we’re excited to get our hands on.

1. AERIN Footwear, $148-$298

The newly launched footwear collection from Aerin Lauder’s luxury lifestyle brand is inspired by the beauty entrepreneur’s favorite beach destinations so they fittingly include a mix of beach-ready flats and cocktail-ready heeled silhouettes.

2. Casadei for Prabal Gurung, $930-$970

Available in two designs—a leather mesh pump and a snakeskin wedge sandal —these shoes garnered so much attention that Cadadei and Prabal Gurung reprized their collaboration for Fall 2013.

3. Kate Spade Saturday

Meant to “capture the spirit of Saturday every day of the week,” Kate Spade’s new lower priced line includes apparel, swimwear, handbags, jewelry, eyewear, shoes and home décor, all of which is priced at about 50 percent less than the main line.

4. Two by Vince Camuto, $39-and-up

While most still think of Vince Camuto as a footwear brand, their recently launched denim-based ready-to-wear collection is well on its way to changing that perception.

5. Joe Fresh at J.C. Penney

Popular Canadian label Joe Fresh is now in 681 of J.C. Penney’s 1,100 stores with a variety of ready-to-wear items priced mostly under $40.

6. Splendid Intimates, $18-68

Purveyors of soft, everyday basics, Splendid recently launched their first lingerie collection, which includes more than 25 bra, pantie, boy short, chemise and romper styles.
