Q: Where do you live?
A: Currently, I’m living in Sparks, Nevada, it’s a small communit adjacent to Reno. I am originally from a small town north of here called Lovelock, where I was born and raised, then came to Reno/Sparks for college.
I’m a whole lotta’ 22.
Q: Describe your style.
I’m have pretty simple tastes when it comes to dressing myself in the morning. Whether I’m dressing for school or work, I love to find ways that I can express my love for fashion and building on your personal style. I would like to aspire to the same tastes as Emmanuelle Alt and Geraldine Saglio – I love minimal, chic, clean lines with a bit of fuss.
Q. Who are some of your favorite designers?
I constantly follow whatever Marc Jacobs is on to, even if it’s something I don’t particularily like. I absolutely adore work of
Christophe Decarnin, Stefano Pilati, Margiela, Nicolas Ghesquière and Miss. Muccia Prada. There are many designers I pay attention to, but these are the people who constantly strike me with new and different ways to work on and create my wardrobe.
Q: What is one item in your closet that you couldn’t live without?
Cannot, cannot, cannot go without my staple Zara denim. They have done me so much justice – thank you dear Zara for designing jeans that are the perfect length for my 5’11” self.
Q: What is the most embarassing item in your closet?
Oh my, I try and to have a “Embarassing Item Clean-out” every few months, but sometimes I stumble across a few blunders. I would have to say, right now probably the tragic uniform tops that I wore while I was working at the Chanel cosmetic counter – they are basically made of a neoprene-like material and fit like a square burlap sack. I’ve been meaning to give those back for over a year now, whoops.
Q: If you could raid anyone’s closet, who would it be?
I have to say probably Kate Lamphear, she is basically idol worthy for me right now. Also any of the Paris Vogue crew partially mentioned in a previous answer – I’ll take a cruise through any of their closets, any day.
