WEARDROBE: CLOSET OF THE WEEK – Grunge meets Paris

Check out Wendy’s profile on Weardrobe.com, and her blog, Hand it Over.

Q: Where do you live?

A: I live in San Francisco, where summer is unusually cold and fall is pretty warm. Besides the weird weather, this city is the best place to live. Diversity is everywhere you go, seriously!

A: I’m currently a junior in high school, basically one of the worst jobs. Besides school, I work as a fashion editorial intern for Weardrobe.com.

A: I am 16 years old.

Q: Describe your style.

A: Honestly, I don’t even know what to call my style. I’m at this point where I want to explore different genres while I still can get away with it. But at the end of the day, I’m either in somewhat of a grungy ensemble or a bit Parisian.

A: At the moment, I am worshiping Ann Demeulemester. Who can resist the layered and effortless looks? And don’t get me started on the shoes, because I will never stop. But one thing Is for sure, if I didn’t have to save up for college, I’d probably spend my all on a pair of those Demeulemester knee high lace up boots – so badass!

A: One item I can not live without is my thrifted Ralph Lauren navy school boy blazer. When I first picked it up, it was god sent. Maybe it’s just me, but I see these types of blazers as perfect fits to all types of outfits.

Q: What is the most embarrassing item in your closet?

A: I still have these rhinestone studded pants from a long time ago in my closet. I have no idea what to do with them!

A: I try to organize my closet by article but it hasn’t been working out. I’ve been too lazy to keep up with my system. Plus, I am getting a new closet since the racks I am using keep falling apart.

A: My dream wardrobe would definitely include all the shoes I love but can not afford. Maybe I can get some from Mary Kate’s shoe collection. I’m a die hard Balenciaga fan so anything with that word will make me swoon.
