My Perfect Holiday Look: Dinner with the Girls

A new decade means new investment pieces and this shrunken black leather jacket from Mackage is such a classic. Along the leather lines, I’ve had my eye on this Zero + Maria Cornejo skirt for a while. I love how every detail has a modern update: longer hemline, unique stitching and unexpected color (that still acts as the perfect neutral).

This Sass & Bide sweater’s metallic sparkle is flashy without feeling cheap. And speaking of NOT cheap, these booties from Isabel Marant are a bit pricey but I know I’ll wear them with everything – skirts, crop pants and tucked into skinny jeans. Winter white never looked so good.

In my (almost) 30 years, I’ve learned to never underestimate the power of a great clutch. This one from Loeffler Randall is sure to make a statement and will complement pretty much any outfit. Love the chain strap in case I happen to have two drinks in my hand that night. Gulp.

As most of my friends will attest, I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to all things beauty. I can’t tell you the last time I got a manicure or blow-dried my hair, so when it comes to makeup, I love a product that pulls double duty. The ULTA Double Duty Lipstain and Balm is the perfect, subtle stain for cheeks and lips – and it lasts all night long.
