We’ve already highlighted the top Fall 2020 runway trends, including stylish ties, tons of fringe and harnesses galore. But street style has its own set of seasonal trends. Sometimes it looks like all members of the street style set got together to coordinate their ensembles. Just look at how many wore quilted coats and carried micro bags to check out the Fall 2019 shows.

So what’s trending for Fall 2020?

Neutral looks are still popular, but with a twist. New shades and even patterns popped up to put a fresh spin on the ongoing trend. Collars came pointed, ruffled and in doily form. White dresses partially covered up by coats were also part of the new street style uniform.

Which trends are officially out?

Pack away those mini and micro bags because excessively large bags have returned with a vengeance. And while quilted coats are still shown on the runway, when it came to street style shearling coats were the only way to stay (really) warm.

Get ready to take notes because you’ll want to try out these trends right away before the weather warms up. We’re predicting that some of them will be out of fashion by fall. Here are the top street style trends spotted outside the Fall 2020 shows.
