The holidays are officially over. So the winter doldrums may soon set in. The antidote? For us, tweed. It’s the fashion equivalent of a light therapy lamp.

Perhaps no label is more synonymous with tweed than Chanel. But since the French fashion house’s wares are way outside of our price parameters, we’re turning to other sources. There are a healthy amount of fast fashion picks, of course. Although we did manage to track down a handful of designer pieces that are relatively affordable. Think Etro, Sacai, Tory Burch and even Saint Laurent.

We’re also embracing more modern interpretations. From a beaded bustier to a well-ventilated vest and textured pumps. Heck, you can literally wear tweed from head to toe if you want to go that route. You can accomplish such a feat by selecting sets. Or feel free to mix and match colors, patterns and brands. Winter’s unfortunately long enough to experiment with both.

If you think all of these pieces have a seasonal shelf life, think again. Some will definitely still work come spring. And most certainly fall. You may even be able to get away with sporting them in the middle of summer.
