Speaking with Chelsea Handler, Anne Hathaway proved once and for all that she’s just boring. Hathaway gushed about the first season of Jersey Shore, and claims that she related to Snooki, of all people: “I saw my twin.” She says she watches MTV for “escapist pleasure.” Sure, and the rest of us watch reality TV whenever we want some brain food.
Hathaway is also a fan of one very obscure British Duchess: “Right now, I’m obsessed with Kate Middleton. Obsessed. I loved the Royal Wedding. I was so cynical going into it, and pseudo-political about the whole thing, but as soon as I saw her I was utterly charmed. I’m just completely enchanted by Kate and William.”
And there wasn’t a word about her Oscars co-host, James Franco, in the entire interview. Anne Hathaway needs to get her finger on the pulse, STAT.
