Donatella Versace Taps Anne Hathaway (Again) & Cillian Murphy for the 2024 Versace Icons Campaign

Donatella Versace’s love for Anne Hathaway only continues to grow. The American actress has become synonymous with Versace real quick, having sat front row at a handful of fashion shows and dazzled in custom Versace creation at the 2023 Met Gala (in addition to numerous other high-profile events). In April 2023, Donatella went as far as to welcome Hathaway as the campaign star of the celebratory Versace Icons collection. Hathaway is back for the 2024 campaign installment, who is welcomed as the face and embodiment of the covetable collection, cast alongside Irish actor Cillian Murphy. Also welcomed back are firm Donatella faves Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, who capture the Hollywood talents within their photographic studio against classic and clean, grey and white backdrops.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Love Cillian, but no. This doesn’t capture his good looks very well. Also, Versace isn’t where he belongs. Celine or Prada would be much better suited to him,” voiced FAdS.

“I’m not trying to be rude, but I don’t want to see him anymore, period. I’ve seen enough of him during the Oppenheimer craze to last me a lifetime,” GivenchyHomme chimed in.

“Also couldn’t care less about Cillian Murphy but I’m here for Anne Hathaway. She looks fantastic, absolutely love the beauty styling! The hair in particular instantly reminded me of Richard Avedon’s Versace campaigns from the early 90s, and I’m massively into it,” raved vogue28.

MModa also liked what they saw, commenting: “All these photographs leave me wanting more!”
