Adele Stars on Vanity Fair’s Serene and Stunning Cover for December (Forum Buzz)

Our forums have always been partial to Adele magazine covers. She has stunned on the cover of Vogue a handful of times, served great face on the cover of i-D Magazine and now makes her debut on Vanity Fair. Closing out the year on a high, the songstress looks gorgeous in the cover photo by Tom Munro for the title’s December 2016 offering. In the classically beautiful portrait, Adele sports a voluminous blowout and an envy-inducing signature makeup look.

Unfortunately, the majority of our forum members weren’t feeling it all that much. “Awkward,” described zzzyao76 the second the cover surfaced.

“I don’t like it. The makeup and layout looks sloppy, and the styling is super boring IMO,” said a deflated kokobombon.

“She looks like a diva on the cover,” burbuja8910 pointed out.

But the cover wasn’t so underwhelming for everyone else. “Not what I expected, but it’s really beautiful. Love her hair, it’s not too composed as usual. It will always be about her face, nothing more. Probably she may even be perpetuating this. The lightness of it is perfect for VF December,” admired Benn98.

Tigerrogue reasoned, “I do like seeing her on covers, because her beauty styling is always superb, even if it’s a one-note look.”

“I like this. It’s soft and dreamy, yet still very her at the same time,” honeycombchild appreciated.

“Lovely cover,” stated liberty3r1b.

Miss Dalloway was a fan too, writing, “Serene, and simply stunning! How wonderful that someone who had such an epic year…it never felt like I was seeing her face too much on the newsstands! She must have turned down many offers! So this feels like a nice surprise actually, to close her amazing year.”
