Natalia Vodianova’s Simple Vogue Poland Cover Wins Over Our Forums

Poland’s debut issue for March 2018 didn’t exactly receive a standing ovation from our forum members and the magazine’s second cover with Eva Herzigova practically flopped. Fortunately, it looks like the third time’s a charm as Natalia Vodianova stars on the May issue, photographed by Christian MacDonald. The Russian beauty does what she does best, giving us major fashion and attitude in head-to-toe Saint Laurent, styled by Veronique Didry. What else could we ask for?

Members of our forums were pleasantly surprised by the magazine this month. “Interesting cover, like Vogue Italia and Vogue Paris blended together to make this cover,” TeeVanity pointed out.

“BAM! I love it! A great use of this overused Saint Laurent. Very dynamic, and this is what Vogue Paris should look like,” added gazebo.

“What a stunning cover!” said Lax89.

Nomar couldn’t wait to show the cover some love too, commenting, “Gorgeous and simple! I really love how the odd pose adds a sense of whimsy which contrasts nicely against the ‘dark styling.'”

“I love this! I just wish they were more creative about the use of text on their covers. Throwing names randomly over the image is the least imaginative thing they could’ve done,” Royal-Galliano noted.

Of course, a select few were critical of the cover. “Another misfire from Vogue Poland. I don’t understand what they’re trying to do, but it’s not working for me,” MyNameIs complained.

“A bit simple to my taste. Easily forgettable,” ranted MerrisaV.

“Trying to find the cohesiveness between March, April and May. Each one looks like a really different magazine,” helmutnotdead grumbled.
