Eco-conscious fashion doesn’t usually bring to mind rich embellishments, luxe fabrications and elegant glamour, but the H&M Conscious Collection is looking to change that. The sustainably-sourced line, which includes flamenco and boho-inspired pieces in a sumptuous color palette, hits stores on April 10 — but celebs like Amber Valletta, Penelope Cruz, Emmy Rossum and others are already all over the collection, proving they’re both style- and eco-conscious.
Emmy Rossum at the H&M Conscious Collection Launch
Emmy Rossum is one of the first fashionistas getting on board with H&M’s eco-chic look. At the collection launch, she wore their classic-cut dress in a beautiful brocade, accessorizing with a statement necklace, strappy sandals, and a metallic box clutch.
Emmy Rossum on the Street
The star also worked one of the collection’s pieces into her street style. While out to lunch in Beverly Hills, she paired her H&M Conscious Collection Breton striped shirt with an eyelet skirt and red accessories that added some pop.
Sophia Bush at the H&M Conscious Collection Launch
Sophia Bush worked the luxe hippie look at the launch of the collection, working a whimsical white lace tunic with a beaded yoke. We love the way that the chunky embellishments play against the airiness of the dress.
Kate Mara at the H&M Conscious Collection Launch
Kate Mara was another one of the celebs promoting the line at the launch event. She tucked a scarf-print top with ruffled shoulders into a pair of champagne drawstring trousers and finished the look with (faux) snakeskin pumps and an emerald green pendant. Princess Victoria of Sweden was also recently spotted in the same top.
Penelope Cruz at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party
Penelope Cruz smoldered in one of the collection’s flamenco-inspired looks at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. Her flattering black gown featured a sheer overlay with bows at the shoulders and a skirt of cascading ruffles.

Amber Valletta at the H&M Conscious Collection Launch
Among the celebs showing love for the Conscious Collection at the launch was Amber Valletta, who contrasted an on-trend nude bralette top with navy silk palazzo pants. Her blunt haircut and dark manicure added an edge to this warm-weather look.

The actress also showed her appreciation for the collection last fall at the Golden Globe announcements, wearing a shimmery, kimono sleeve dress in the same print as Kate Mara’s top.
