Joe Fresh had a clear message for their Fall 2012 show—everything was very reminiscent of the 1960s. The bright colours and rich tones we've grown to love from Joe Fresh are still present. It was an abundance of houndstooth, textures, and patterns marching down the runway. The reception from the crowd was warm with every single showing.
A parade of mini skirts, pencil skirts, motorcycle jackets, and pea coats defined the very contemporary feel, offering something for everyone's taste. The men's fashions also had a great offering of blazers, turtlenecks, and trousers depicting a dapper clean look with tuxedo-type shirts and bow-ties.
Just when I thought it was over, I noticed the signature Joe Fresh bright orange shade on the soles of shoes. Great closing for last Wednesday at Toronto Fashion Week with an overwhelming reception, reaching capacity. I thought the collection was fantastic and brought a sense of warmth and fun to what could be very cold and flat colours of fall and winter.
