Forget Trends: You Can Wear These Hot-Off-the-Runway Updos All Year Long (Here’s How)

Jenny Packham

I fell in love with this low, messy bun that somehow combined chic and put together with artfully messy and approachable. Packham and Tresemme lead stylist Jeanie Syfu looked at Bianca Jagger’s look and “we liked the feeling of it not being over-thought,” Syfu said. So they created a low, loose bun with volume at the crown and the ends of the bun splitting out. (Perfect for when it’s impossible to get all the ends tucked neatly in!)

The volume was achieved by blow-drying hair with Tresemme 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse, teasing the hair around the crown and brushing it back with a Mason Pearson hairbrush. Hair was pulled back in a loose ponytail so it covered the ears. They twisted the length of the hair into a bun, pinning in place with the ends out. Tresemme Leave-In Split End Conditioning Treatment was applied through the front of the hairline while loosely separating hair with fingertips.
