“We’re actually using a new [Bumble and bumble] product that won’t be out until spring. It’s perfect for the hair at this show because the inspiration behind the collection is a 40s feminine woman mixed with a tomboy surfer girl,” explained hair stylist James Pecis backstage at Yigal Azrouël. The straight hair looked soft, but the added texture from the secret product gave it a beachy element, just not as much as one would get from a traditional surf spray.

For makeup, Benjamin Puckey used NYX cosmetics to give the girls an effortless, glowy look. “We got the fresh-out-of-the-water glow by using serum followed by NYX HD Studio Photogenic Foundation ($17.99), which kept the skin luminous,” noted Puckey. He then finished off the look by sweeping a small amount of bronzer over the cheeks and highlighted the face using Liquid Illuminator ($7).
