For step two, apply the special Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Top Coat. This top coat cures in natural light, leaving you with a shiny finish that lasts longer than a standard polish. I am super hard on my nails and I get two to three times the wear with Revlon Gel Envy than I do with a regular polish. Be sure to run a bead along the top of your nails to prevent chips, especially if you type on a computer a lot like I do!
Since I like to bring in fall with purples yet also like to keep a bit of summer pinks still in play, I did my nails in a combination of Hold Em, a pretty purple shade, and Royal Flush, a bright pink with a hint of metallic to it. Doing one nail a separate color from the rest gives a fun and trendy look to your nails. It looks youthful, yet is still appropriate for older fingers such as mine. I consider it an all ages look.
