Wrinkle Free in Two Weeks? Test Driving La Prairie’s New Serum

I’m a little set in my ways with beauty products. I know what works, what doesn’t and I have my Sunday night routine down pat. But I’m starting to get those dreaded fine lines. Every time I look in the mirror, they’re there. Which is why I had to try La Prairie’s newly-launched Anti-Aging Rapid Response Booster. One hundred percent of all users had skin improvement after using the serum for two weeks. With a stat like that, how could I not use it? (Full disclosure: I’m a La Prairie junkie. The brand’s 3-Minute Peel is the closest thing to heaven I’ve come across.)

The booster is a light serum you use post-wash, pre-moisturizer. It’s light pink and has that perfumed scent that’s synonymous with the brand. (My dog loves the fragrance. I can’t explain it.) Using neuropeptides, it targets your wrinkles and plumps your skin, while plankton extracts exfoliate and an herbal brightening complex evens out your skin tone. I have some fine lines and the skin on my forehead isn’t as smooth as it used to be. Aging is weird, you guys.

I started using the booster and after the first day, my skin did feel smoother. That was a plus! Did the lines disappear overnight? No, not overnight. But my skin was softer and felt more supple. After two weeks of using the serum, the tiny lines in my forehead are imperceptible. Guess I’m part of the 100 percent! This is going to be my secret weapon for upcoming events where I need to look especially fresh. (Ahem, high school reunion, anyone?)
