Hailey Baldwin ‘Looks Bored’ on the Cover of Harper’s Bazaar Spain for January

The industry is so caught up with Kendall Jenner and the Gigi Hadid that we often overlook the credentials of their BFF and fellow Insta-girl, Hailey Baldwin. She served supermodel realness in numerous Guess campaigns this year and made the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia for November. It seems 2017 will be just as successful for Hailey as she’s unveiled as the cover star for Harper’s Bazaar Spain’s January edition, alongside male model Jon Kortajarena. Photographed by Spanish Bazaar regular Thomas Whiteside, Hailey stars on not one, but two covers to usher in the new year.

Our forum members aren’t so sure her success is deserved, however. “I think that she has what it takes to be a good celebrity model but there’s something so pedestrian in her presence IMO, I just can’t get into her. I prefer Hailey’s solo cover though, as Jon seems annoyed on the other,” wrote kokobombon.

“She looks bored and he looks confused. Something my eye would be drawn to for the wrong reasons,” critiqued inwhiterooms.

Sharing the same underwhelming sentiments was Wintergreen: “Gigi Hadid might not be high fashion modeling material, but this girl isn’t any sort of modeling material, period.”

Tigerrouge wasn’t feeling it either, pointing out, “They look like people in a relationship who are going to split up very soon.”

“After seeing these, I’m left wondering, is there any difference between this girl and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley?” asked bun-bun.

“That is an insult to Rosie!” fired back Elite13.

“Umm…bad bad bad,” slammed an astounded eneroenero.
