Jessica Alba Responds to Honest Sunscreen Fails

Jessica Alba released a statement on the Honest website to address customer complaints  and concerns about the product. She, along with co-founder Christopher Gavigan, assure the public that their sunscreen formula had passed SPF 30 testing and had been given high marks from the Environmental Working Group. They also mentioned that they had changed the formula from their original one to make it more water resistant.

But despite getting approval from outside entities, Honest says it is taking the complaints of customers seriously. “What matters most to us is your trust and confidence. We’re passionate about living up to your expectations as much as our own,” the team writes. “We’ve personally picked up the phone to speak with many of you who have called our customer service hotline. Our team is reaching out to everyone who has posted on social media to assure you that we’re committed to your safety and satisfaction.” Honest encourages more people to speak out if they have had an unsatisfactory experience with the sunscreen and promise to work on improving the product.
