I knew that they would be back come next winter, but I thought that we were at least done with them for this season – Uggs are truly the trend that will never die! For better or worse, Ugg has tapped Los Angeles-based designer Rozae Nichols, whose own line is known for its proprietary fabrics and handwrought elements, to create a 14-piece outerwear line for the Australian brand.
Nicholas said that she was very attracted to this collaboration, because she finds leathers and shearlings very interesting materials to work with, adding that she has always admired the Ugg brand for having an iconic style. Despite not being a fan of Ugg’s previous forays beyond footwear, Nicholas is a talented designer, so I look forward to seeing her designs.
