Isn’t she a stunning history maker? The bangs distracted me a little but overall, this is the fiercest cover of the year (so far).

This is definitely not as high fashion as i-D’s cover, but it’s rare for Harper’s to put a black model-host on the cover instead of a random white Hollywood celebrity. Tyra deserves the cover, it is totally for her. (See the editorial of her styled as Michelle Obama here)

Jourdann Dunn in Prada
In this issue, all six models (Aggy, Amber, Natalia, Jourdan, Naomi, Oluchi) are styled as ‘hot nuns’ and photographed by Sebastian Faena.
And, God knows what Miuccia might already be thinking seeing Jourdan in all these Prada outfits. A campaign? An opening/closing slot?
Naomi Campbell. I am seriously getting an overdose of her in the recent months.

I still find it a little ridiculous that this 6ft1 Nigerian stunner wasn’t included in the VI all black issue (is it because of her Victoria Secret contract?)
I am hoping that this trend is not a five minute thing. The ultimate is for more black models to front ad campaigns…
