Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Anna Wintour Make Forbes List of Most Powerful Women

Forbes has released its list of the world’s most powerful women for 2015. Of course, you’ll find names like Hillary Clinton (#2) and Oprah Winfrey (#12), but one of this year’s newbies on the list is Taylor Swift, who has arguably been having the best year ever since releasing her 1989 album in October. Swift comes in at #64, with Forbes giving her props for being one of three artists to see their albums reach platinum status in 2014. It also doesn’t hurt that Swift has been quite savvy about her money and intellectual property, having removed her music from Spotify’s free streaming service.

Beyoncé, who inspires and influences us each and every day with her glorious existence, comes in at #21. No list of influential women would be complete without a few notable members of the fashion set. Anna Wintour (#28), Tory Burch (#73), Diane von Furstenberg (#75), Miuccia Prada (#79) and Sara Blakley (#91) round out this list of influencers. Ellen Degeneres (#50) also gets a mention thanks in part to the ED lifestyle brand she’s expected to launch soon.

Talk about ladies doing it all!
