Claudia Schiffer Looks Creepy on Harper’s Bazaar Spain’s September Cover (Forum Buzz)

The image is from the editorial Carine Roitfeld styled, which was published in all international editions of Harper’s Bazaar. And maybe that’s the problem here. Quite possibly, Harper’s Bazaar Spain struggles when not using its own creative team. While Claudia’s shot (photographed by Sebastian Faena) didn’t stand out so negatively within the whole editorial, it’s arguably not a cover-worthy image.

So, what did our forum members have to say about the cover? Nothing positive.

“Terrible” (Suhzie) and “disastrous” (la veronika) were some of the adjectives being used.

“Looks like a bad Herbal Essences/Shampoo ad! Only the clothes are good…..” commented miguelalmeida.

“It scared me!” admitted GlamorousBoy.

For the 50th issue, the mag surely would have created something much more striking and pleasant to look at, had it been up to the team of Harper’s Bazaar Spain. So, who is to blame for this mess? Benn98 knows the answer: “Ugh! This is all Carine Roitfeld’s doing.” Scapegoat found.
