Wintour’s latest endorsement, with the unveiling of Vogue‘s April 2024 cover is Coco Gauff. The American tennis player receives the full Vogue cover treatment, captured by famed photographer and Wintour favorite Annie Leibovitz. In the warm and energetic cover shot, Coco poses against a textured studio backdrop and shimmers in a gold sequinned dress from Michael Kors Collection, selected for the occasion by stylist Tabitha Simmons.

“That’s an unfortunate facial expression,” noted WinstonH20.

Mepps was in complete agreement, commenting: “My only problem with this cover is that unfortunate facial expression. Coco Gauff is very photogenic, but this ain’t it.”

“Oh wow, Coco is so pretty, so surely they could’ve picked a better cover shot,” added thenewclassic.

Vogue28 voiced: “Always down for these old-school American Vogue type covers. I love the gold, the coloring and warmth of Leibovitz’s photography. However, there’s something about the mid-pose from Coco Gauff here that just deflates and downgrades the cover overall.”

“Everything works minus the facial expression,” stated forum member WAVES.

“So bored with athletes on Vogue,” cried out tomtakesphotos.
