How to Pull Together a Cozy Holiday Home

The holidays are here! Winter is one of my favorite times to be in my home, especially when it’s all decked out and cozy. There’s nothing better than a fire in the fireplace, a tree lit and decorated, and a home filled with your favorite people, all celebrating the season. This year, get your home nice and cozy with a few key pieces – you’ll be weathering the winter season in style.

Champagne Glitter Wood Curl Wreath available at Home Depot

With all of the holiday visitors that are sure to be coming and going, add a little welcoming touch to your front door with a wreath or swag. This sparkly number is just the right mix of woodsy and glitzy, and will last for years to come. Pop it on your door to set the stage for a warm winter evening as guests enter your home. And even better, hand them a mug of something warm and delicious when they walk in the door!

Aldridge Extendable Dining Table available at Home Depot

If you love entertaining, you can’t go wrong with a really great dining table. Imagine family and friends all seated together, gathered around a big rustic beauty like this extendable table. Especially around the holidays, you get major props if your guests don’t have to sit on the couch while they’re eating their turkey. Dress it up with a gorgeous centerpiece made with winter greenery and you’re good to go. Bonus points if you’ve got some really great dining chairs (the leather backs on these are about as close to perfect as you can get!).

Slim Dunhill Fir Pre-Lit Artificial Christmas Tree available at Home Depot

If the holiday season has got you running around like mad, make things easy on yourself and find decorative pieces for your home that are quick and easy. Sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get all the cookies decorated and halls decked. A tree like this one is so fab it doesn’t even need any additional ornaments – just set it up and let it glow. No fuss, no muss, and instantly cozy.

Wishing you lots of cozy moments at home this winter, with plenty of time to enjoy them. Happy holidays!
