Diane von Furstenberg S/S 2011

Geometric prints, colors and draping were the main themes of Diane von Furstenberg’s collection. Layers of patterns and colors were piled on top of each other creating a pleasant contrast. Almost dizzying at times, the collection was full of life and creativity. Viewers wondered how the addition of new DVF designer Yvan Mispelaere would change the brand, and it looks like they were pleased with the results.

Tailoring was chic and impeccable when mixed with bold opposing colors.

Dresses were goddess-like, with deep necklines and Greek inspired drapery.

Celebrity guests, including Sarah Jessica Parker, came out to view the collection while wearing a beautiful new print dress from the line. Gorgeous prints and easy to wear clothes with a lot of style and a unique design perspective ensure next Spring will provide a DVF wardrobe to covet.
