Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2011

No one expects understated staples from Roberto Cavalli – unless, of course, your everyday wardrobe includes fitted leopard jackets worn over leopard silk blouses, or blue leopard cropped pants paired with shimmering tops.

For the woman who is willing to take some fashion risks, few designers hold as much appeal as Roberto Cavalli.

For Pre-Fall 2011, the Italian designer showed crystal-encrusted mini dresses, cropped jackets with structured shoulders, and a whole lot of leopard. He threw in a few warm-weather-minded prints, like a sari featuring an oversized flower.

For the slightly more demure, khaki pants in a variety of materials were shown, cropped above the ankle and cuffed, along with fitted and ruched tops.
