Krizia Fall 2011 Runway Review

From afar the bowl-cut, platinum hairstyles at the Krizia Fall 2011 show looked like vintage army hats, but up close you could see the straight cut angular bangs and its modern implication. Asymmetry, shoulders and futuristic fabrications were strong components of the collection. Angular shoulders were accentuated on overcoats and jackets while asymmetry was used in the draping of slinky dresses and silk pants. A popular version was the one legged plunging v-neckline silk jumpsuit shown in a variety of colors and lengths.

The collection also played with texture and the pairings of opposing looks. Matte fabrics were worn with shine including a sleek, silk, blue dress over a laced, leather pant. A gorgeous black gown and a red coat and leggings looked futuristic in the patent leather fabrication.

Daywear included looks in a series of grey sweaters, coats and plaid pants. Krizia provided an assortment of looks that work from day to night and are sure to please consumers next season.
