DESIGNER VINCENTE VILLARIN

Designer Joanne Reyes named her second collection Vicente Villarin after her grandfather but the way this designer creates a dress is nothing less than fresh and modern.

Trained at Parsons New School and at some of the top design houses in New York City including Jill Stuart, J Mendel and Reem Acra, Joanne designs for the classic, edgy and modern woman who is a juxtaposition of timeless elegance and new unique forms.

The Fall 2008 Collection introduces clean lines with soft draping and bold colors creating a collection that is both fierce and romantic. My favorite pieces are the Copper Cocktail Dress in metal taffeta and the Cement Gown that would look fabulous as an ethereal wedding dress.
