England Preps for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee

Vivienne Westwood’s Jubilee-Inspired Collection

Westwood’s Red Carpet Capsule Collection is apparently inspired by some of the Queen’s own royal gowns, so get ready for some breathtaking occasion wear, which is nonetheless infused with the Brit designer’s legendary style characteristics. The collection includes luxurious fabrics and subtle tones; a wardrobe most definitely fit for a Queen, or even the Duchess of Cambridge. We could easily picture Kate gracing some glamorous events in these pieces, but in reality, that sadly may not happen since good old Viv publicly called Kate unstylish. But who knows? Fashion is one fickle playground.

Right Royal Style

London’s famous Victoria and Albert Museum is also playing its part in the celebrations as it’s set to host an exhibition dedicated to the Queen. This will feature photographs of the Queen taken over the years by royal photographer Cecil Beaton, which predominantly means that we will get to look back and remember her extravagant and luxurious style from years gone by. Think of a mix between her pretty tea dresses for her casual playing in the back garden with the corgis days, meets full on diva glam with her diamond encrusted gowns accessorised with a blinging crown!

Let the street party fash-offs begin!
