LOUIS VUITTON…IS BACK!

A madcap collection full of juicy colors, a variety of textures, and influences ranging from African tribal beat to Parisenne 80s rock princess(and everywhere in between) – Marc Jacobs concocted a fashion cocktail that was strong enough to knock any woman off her Manolos and into Vuittons.

The collection of a thousand accessories had exquisite shoes that showcased the African influence with colorful abstract African masks crowned with vibrant plumage that rested upon reptile skin platforms.

The tribal beat continued to play itself out in the form of totem necklaces, oversized earrings, and vibrant animal print enamel bangles.

Handbags that mixed embossed “LV” leather, technicolored wooden beads, leopard skin, and free-swinging tassles drawstrings will easily serve up some of this season’s “must-have” bags.

The modern geisha style obi belts had an African flavor with swatches of colored python skin, that cinched in the waists of garments.

Ah yes, the clothing – one must not overlook the clothing!

Elegant high-waisted wide-legged pants cinched to perfection with those exotic obi belts; 80s influenced power-padded shoulder blazers that were color-blocked in vibrant oranges, bright blues, powerful purples, and radiant raspberry; ostriach feather skirts and glittery sweaters – there was truly something for every woman at any age.

With this no-holds-barred collection, Marc Jacobs proved why he remains among the fashion elite, and why, in the current gloomy economic climate, he keeps the fashion industry shining bright.
