LANA FUCHS SPRING 2009

The Las Vegas designer presented her couture collection inspired by her experience walking the gardens of Claude Monet in France, and her travels to India.

Day dresses in colorful floral prints and evening gowns decorated with light embellishments were prominent.

Sultry silks, chiffons and embroideries were constructed into  one shoulder, goddess gowns and dresses.

Some of the ball gowns went into the direction of gaudy with ruffle trims, huge blooming flowers and questionable sleeve designs exuding a slight eastern European flare, but some key pieces were kept simplistic and chic, fit for a city cocktail party.

Lana celebrated a successful show by hosting a red carpet after party with celebrity guest DJ Joel Madden.
